During the evening of August 5, 2024, many homes in the Calgary region were damaged due to an extreme weather incident. Morrison Homes is responding accordingly to assess the damage. As a future or current homeowner, you may be wondering what the best course of action is. There are two scenarios to be aware of:

Homes that have not yet taken possession.

Our construction team is currently going through each area and assessing the damage to our homes under construction and coordinating a plan to address and properly repair. Morrison Homes is prioritizing based on these repairs as well as taking into consideration the expected possession timing for our homeowners.

Homes that have taken possession.

With respect to this hailstorm that has affected each area, this is not considered a warranty item as it is an extreme weather incident. To ensure you are protecting your property and assets, you should immediately contact your insurance company to open a claim. Your insurance company will provide the best direction and steps forward.
